How to dive in

Send your application with cover letter, CV and - if required for the role - work samples to talent@vyldness.de. In addition to your motivation and work experience, please describe what you expect from your role and Vyld.

At the latest a few days after the end of the application phase you will receive an answer to your application by e-mail.

Boom, we liked your application. We arrange a short first phone call with you to ask basic questions and to check the alignment for you and Vyld. You will then be informed as soon as possible whether the process will continue.

We invite you to an interview in the office. The goal is to talk about the position to be filled and to clarify related expectations. You will receive feedback after two weeks at the latest. Should the decision take longer, we will let you know.

If it was a match when we met, we will ask you for 2-3 references so that we can contact your former employers/colleagues. In addition, we are curious about your skills in practice, so we have a small task from your future work area for you. Please allow approx. 1 week waiting time for this.

Time to meet with the person(s) from the Vyld team who will be working directly with you. Together we will talk about the practice assignment and open questions. A few days after the appointment, we will hopefully be able to ask you, "Do you want to dive in?". If it doesn't work out this time, you will be notified just as quickly.
During the entire process, we do our best to always give you quick feedback, because waiting sucks. It is also important for us to get feedback from you. In case of questions, input, escaped interest please contact us directly.

For us "Ocean Lovers" Vyld is the connection between paid employment and social commitment. Because it deals with many topics that are close to our hearts: Ocean and environmental protection, feminism, regenerative economy, new work and (nature)connection.

We work in beautiful Rixdorf, Neukölln. There we have 2 cozy team offices in a co-working space.

Our patent-filed technology is designed to help solve the global 'period waste' problem: Every day, around 300 million people menstruate worldwide, and the products used to do so often end up as trash in the ocean.

Profits cannot be extracted, but go directly back into our mission. This model is consistent with our feminist and activist approach to building a business that fundamentally challenges the status quo and rethinks economics.

After one year at Vyld, every employee can become steward owner via the SeaLevel GbR, which as shareholder of Vyld holds 99% of the voting rights. In this way, employees can participate in, determine and take responsibility for the company as a whole, above and beyond their own role.

We raised all of Vyld's investments on our customized financial instrument Future Profit Partnership Agreement (#FPPA), that we're happy to share with other purpose companies.

We are networked with important European partners from science and industry and visit them regularly to also carry out tests ourselves (do it yourself = understand properly).

Product safety is incredibly important to us. We prefer to be present on site when our kelpons are being tested, such as here in a syngina.

Our Kelpon is plastic-free and made from seaweed that is biodegradable both on land and in water.

The seaweed extract used to make our fibers for our Kelpon and other products from the Algaeverse is naturally white, so it does not need to be bleached and is free of harmful substances.

Marine algae reduce greenhouse gases and clean the ocean by binding large amounts of CO₂ and nitrogen. In the process, the "blue lung" produces most of the earth's oxygen.

We want a regenerative cultivation of seaweed. Regular trips to the sea are a must for this ;)
